(An Early) Happy Easter to You

Today is Good Friday, and a gray wet day here. It kind of reminds me of what the day may have been like back on the first Easter weekend. Our forecast shows this storm blowing through and sunshine coming back for the weekend. Again, just like the first Easter…
Easter is one of my favorite holidays because it represents the hope that is ours through the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus gave his life willingly to pay the price for our sins; and his resurrection proved the power of God over hell and the grave.
I gave my life to Jesus as a young girl and it’s a decision I never regret making. I pray each of you can experience the joy and peace that comes from accepting the free gift of salvation through acceptance of what He did on the cross.
Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Leah 🙂 I also had a grey and showery Easter here in Australia. My little ones still don't fully understand the true meaning of Easter, but each year they are getting better with it. Christmas is so much easier to explain cause who doesn't love a birthday?

I hope you had a wonderful Easter break xx

Me again, I've just been back reading through your blog, I have so much catching up to do – I am so, so excited for you doing a 10k race. I am going to check out the Jeff Galloway 10k program as well. That is my goal at the moment to be able to run 10k, so far my furthest has been 6k. This is so exciting and I can't wait for you to run the race.

If you have any tips for the PMS monster and defeating the cravings that come with it, I would love to hear them – that is also my worst time of every month. I don't even think about chocolate until then. In summer I was making a moch-frappe, it was just some almond milk, cocoa powder and lots of ice, but now with winter approaching I don't know what I will do.

It must be so nice having your mum there with you, I love it when my mum visits, it's been a year since I've seen her and I miss her 😦

Good luck with your running plan, I know you will do a fantastic job – I've know I've said this before, but I am just so excited for you!!
